The Root Chakra
The root (first) chakra is located near the base of the spine. It’s related to security, money, home, survival. Blockage can cause fear or anxiety. Ideally this chakra brings security, health, and wealth.
The Sacral Chakra
The sacral (second) chakra is located just beneath the navel. It’s related to emotions and sexuality. Blockage can lead to an explosive temper, manipulative behavior, sexual addiction or other emotionally related problems. Proper function leads to depth of feelings and emotional connection with others.
The Solar Plexus Chakra
The solar plexus (third) chakra is located in the solar plexus, just below the ribs. It’s related to personal power, self-esteem, and your ability to obtain goals. This is an important chakra to have open and properly flowing. Blockage can lead to low energy and feeling unworthy.
The Heart Chakra
The heart (fourth) chakra is located in the center of your chest. It’s related to your affinity with yourself and others. Love and caring come from this chakra. Damage or blockage leads to fear of getting hurt or feeling unworthy of love.
The Throat Chakra
The throat (fifth) chakra is located at the base of your throat. It’s related to communication and creativity. Blockages lead to difficulty in creating and communicating what you intend.
The Third Eye Chakra
The third eye (sixth) chakra is located just above the bridge of your nose, where you may have seen people wear a red dot. This chakra is related to clairvoyance which is French for “clear seeing.” Blockages make it difficult to see what is going on or to tell a truth from a lie.
The Crown Chakra
The crown (seventh) chakra is located at the top of your head. It is related to intuition or psychic knowing and provides a connection to information from your higher self and the universe. Blockages make it difficult to access your intuition and psychic information.
